What we  offer

Young People

Are you finding it hard to go to school ? Perhaps your school work feels too much, transitions are stressful, friendships are complicated and it can leave you with a  low mood and anxiety,  

The Group

We are offering a safe, inclusive space for you to talk about difficult topics like anxiety, bullying and overwhelm with other young people and two qualified BACP Counsellors.

Parents

We will have an initial assessment and discussion to gain a shared understanding of what might be happening for your child. Sessions with young people will be confidential but with permission we will be able to discuss themes with parents .

We will  have a maximum of 8 young people per group.

The sessions will cost £25 each and  the initial assessment and three week session cost £50.

HOW IT WILL WORK

  • We will meet once a week for 8 weeks

  • DATE and VENUE still to be confirmed

  • Each session will last an hour

  • We will have time to chat, get to know each other and  each week we will look at different topics which will  include anxiety, depression, bullying and other difficult topics. that might affect you not wanting to go to school.

  • There is no expectation to have to contribute but we want to provide a safe space for you to share and learn from and with your peers that are experiencing similar experiences.

  • We will meet with your parents after week 3 and explore topics and how they can support you

  • Everything is confidential .

  • Spaces are limited so book your space now and begin your healing journey.

The Counsellor

Brigitte is a qualified Counsellor and has supported young people with difficult emotions and also works within a fostering service.

Brigitte has crazy curly hair and loves to ride on her bicycle along the canal when she feels stressed.

We are both DBS checked, with the appropriate insurance and BACP registered and have a real passion to support young people in navigating difficult emotional challenges.
